Understand your skin. Know your products. Track visible results.
Even when that means buying nothing.
Steeped is an iPhone app. AI skin analysis shows you where your skin is today, it reads the ingredients in the products you already use, and it helps you keep a simple routine long enough to see what changes.

The problem
Skincare advice is loud, and most of it is selling something.
-
01
Too many voices
Ten-step routines, ingredient trends, a new must-have every week. Most people end up guessing.
-
02
The answer is usually “buy more”
Brands and retailers earn more when you add a product, so adding is what they recommend. Many skincare apps work the same way.
-
03
No way to tell what’s working
Change five things at once and you never learn which one mattered. Skin changes slowly, over weeks, not days.
How Steeped works
Scan once. Use what you have. Give it time.
-
1
Scan your skin
Take one photo. AI skin analysis from a third-party provider looks at 11 skin concerns and your skin type, and Steeped explains what it sees in plain language, starting with the areas to watch.
Your face photo is sent to our analysis provider. It’s stored on our servers only if you opt in.
Observations from one photo, not a diagnosis.
-
2
Start with what you already use
Add the products on your shelf, morning and evening. Steeped reads each ingredient list from a photo of the label, then reviews your routine product by product: keep, watch or change, with no more than two changes at a time.
“Your routine is mostly fine” is a complete answer.
-
3
The daily loop
Check off your morning and evening steps each day, with optional reminders and no streak pressure.
Honest by design
Tonight, do less.
Steeped is built to be able to recommend against buying. It can tell you to skip a step tonight, only suggests buying when a basic is missing, like sunscreen, and never names a brand.
-
Skipping is a real recommendation
When a routine rule fires, Today shows it plainly: “Retinoid night — skip exfoliating acids tonight.” Or: “You exfoliated last night — a rest night is fine.”
-
No buying language
Plans that tell you to buy or switch brands are rejected before you ever see them. The one exception: if a basic like sunscreen is missing, Steeped will say so.
-
Clear about its limits
“This isn’t medical advice. A dermatologist knows your skin best.”

The steeping journey
Results take weeks. Steeped is built for the wait.
Progress is counted in consistent days, any day you check off at least one step, across a 28-day steep. It isn’t a streak, so missing a day doesn’t reset anything.
-
First Pour
Days 0–6
Your routine is new. Your first scan sets the baseline.
-
Unfurling
7 consistent days
A week of showing up. Nothing dramatic yet, and that’s expected.
-
Deepening
14 consistent days
Two weeks in. A rescan starts to show what’s moving.
-
Full Steep
21+ consistent days
“Your routine is settled.”
Where we are
